Role Overview

We’re hiring a Marketing Operations & Content Manager to be the execution engine behind our marketing strategy.

You are the highly skilled implementor who makes marketing strategy a reality.

You’ll own two core functions:

60% - Content Repurposing & Distribution Transform our podcast episodes into a steady stream of blog posts, social content, emails, and SEO-optimized assets. Ensure everything gets published on time, every time.

40% - Marketing Operations & Outreach Manage outreach for events and podcast guests. Monitor everything we publish for quality. Keep DMs, comments, and community engagement covered. Support with research as needed.

Your North Star: Make Kaye (Head of Marketing) 2-3x more productive by handling all execution, operations, and systematic content production, so she can focus on strategy, copywriting, and revenue-driving campaigns.

What You’ll Actually Do

Content Repurposing & Distribution (60%)

You are the repurposing engine that turns 2 podcast episodes per week into 30+ content assets.

Podcast Content Repurposing (Core System)

We publish 2 podcast episodes per week. We have an AI-assisted system that generates draft content assets from each episode (blog posts, show notes, email copy, LinkedIn posts, YouTube descriptions, social captions). Your role:

  • Run the system for each episode and review all outputs
  • Edit and polish AI-generated drafts to sound human, match brand voice, and meet quality standards
  • Add context that AI misses: internal links, relevant CTAs, guest details, timely references
  • Create supporting graphics in Canva using existing templates (carousels, quote graphics, key stat visuals)
  • Publish and distribute each asset to the right platform on schedule

The system does the heavy lifting on first drafts. You own quality control, finishing touches, and getting everything live.

Content Distribution & Scheduling

  • Schedule all social posts in advance using VistaSocial
  • Publish blog posts to the website (formatted, SEO-optimized)
  • Upload YouTube descriptions and tags
  • Send newsletter emails on schedule
  • Monitor published content for errors (broken links, typos, formatting issues)

LinkedIn & Social Media Management

  • Post consistently to Freewyld Foundry LinkedIn company page
  • Schedule posts for optimal engagement times
  • Respond to comments (simple engagement; Kaye handles complex questions)
  • Monitor post performance and flag high-performers

You’re not responsible for “going viral” or creating breakthrough content. You’re ensuring consistent, on-brand posting that supports our thought leadership positioning.

YouTube Channel Support

  • Optimize video titles for SEO + curiosity (based on Kaye’s direction)
  • Add relevant tags, hashtags, and organize content into playlists
  • Monitor YouTube analytics (views, watch time, CTR) and report to the team

Content Calendar Management

  • Build and maintain the content calendar in ClickUp (podcast episodes, blog posts, social posts, emails)
  • Ensure all content is scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance
  • Flag any gaps or missed deadlines
  • Coordinate with video editors on video clip production

Marketing Operations & Outreach (40%)

You are the operations backbone for our small but mighty marketing department.

Event & Conference Outreach

  • Research industry conferences and submit speaking proposals for Eric and Jasper
  • Track submission deadlines, application requirements, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate event logistics, pre-event prospect outreach, and post-event follow-up sequences
  • Maintain an events calendar in ClickUp

Podcast Guest Outreach & Coordination

  • Identify and reach out to potential podcast guests (based on Kaye’s direction)
  • Coordinate scheduling, prep docs, and guest communication
  • Manage the guest pipeline in ClickUp
  • Ensure guests have everything they need before recording day

QA & Monitoring

You are the detail-oriented safety net for everything we publish and launch.

  • Monitor all live campaigns, landing pages, emails, and automations for broken links, typos, formatting issues, and UI problems
  • Test new pages and forms across mobile and desktop before and after launch
  • Flag issues quickly so they get fixed before they cost us leads

Inbox & Community Management

  • Monitor DMs, comments, and mentions across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Respond to simple engagement (questions, thank-yous, basic inquiries)
  • Flag conversations that need Kaye’s or Eric’s attention
  • Ensure no messages or comments go unanswered

Research & Ad Hoc Projects

  • Support Kaye with research projects as they come up (using AI tools to accelerate)
  • Examples: market research, competitor analysis, partnership opportunities, content ideas, event scouting
  • Deliver organized, actionable summaries, not raw data dumps

How We’ll Measure Your Success

Content Production Volume (Primary KPI) Target: 30+ content assets per week from 2 podcast episodes. 2 blog posts, 2 YouTube descriptions, 6+ social posts, 2 emails, 6-10 quote graphics. Consistent output, on schedule, no missed weeks.

Execution Quality (Primary KPI) Target: Zero launches with errors that impact lead flow. Every email, landing page, and workflow works perfectly on launch day. Zero broken links, zero missed automations, zero form failures.

System Efficiency Target: Reduce Kaye’s time on execution tasks by 50%+. You proactively take things off her plate, not wait to be assigned.

Platform Growth Support (Secondary) Podcast downloads: Support 3X growth throughout 2026 via better SEO and consistent promotion. YouTube: Optimize channel for growth. LinkedIn: Consistent posting drives profile visibility and engagement.

Who You Are

Must-Haves

  • Marketing operations, OBM, or coordinator experience (2-3+ years). You’ve been the ops person behind successful campaigns. You’ve built emails, landing pages, and workflows in marketing automation platforms. You understand how campaigns work end-to-end.
  • Platform fluency with GoHighLevel (or similar). Direct GHL experience is ideal. Deep experience with ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, ClickFunnels, or similar all-in-one platforms is acceptable. You learn new tools quickly.
  • Content repurposing experience. You’ve taken long-form content (podcast, webinar, video) and turned it into blogs, social posts, and emails. You understand SEO basics. You know how to edit AI-generated content to make it sound human.
  • Project management & systems thinking. You love checklists, SOPs, and repeatable systems. You use ClickUp, Asana, Monday, or similar tools to stay organized. You proactively identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
  • Excellent written English (native or near-native level). You can turn bullet points into polished sentences. You catch typos and grammatical errors. You match brand voice and tone once you learn it.
  • Detail-oriented without being slow. You catch errors before they go live, but you don’t agonize over perfection. You ship on deadline.
  • Comfortable with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT). You use AI to speed up drafting but always edit and ensure quality and accuracy.

Strong Pluses

  • Familiarity with the short-term rental, hospitality, or real estate space
  • Experience working with podcasts or YouTube channels
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva proficiency)
  • Experience supporting a CMO, VP Marketing, or Marketing Director
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
  • Previous experience with Slack, ClickUp, Google Workspace
  • Event outreach or PR/coordination background

Personality & Working Style

Low ego, high execution. You’re excited about executing someone else’s vision flawlessly. You take pride in making things work smoothly, not in being the visionary.

Systems-driven mindset. You love when processes are documented and repeatable. You’re energized by building SOPs and checklists. You naturally think “how can I make this faster or better next time?”

Proactive problem-solver. You don’t wait for someone to tell you the form is broken. You test it and fix it. You flag issues early, not the day before launch. You suggest optimizations.

Comfortable with feedback and iteration. Kaye will edit your work, and that’s normal and expected. You improve based on feedback without taking it personally.

Can context-switch quickly. Morning: building email campaigns. Afternoon: repurposing podcast content. You shift gears fast.

Thrives on consistency and deadlines. You like knowing what’s expected and delivering it on time, every time. Once you know the system, you run it.

Tools You’ll Use

Primary (daily): GoHighLevel, Website CMS, ClickUp, Google Docs/Sheets, Canva, VistaSocial, YouTube Studio, Slack

Secondary (as needed): Claude/ChatGPT, Zapier, Google Analytics, Acast

You’ll have training and support on all tools.

Compensation & Growth

Starting Compensation: $2,500-$3,500/month (based on experience)

If you consistently exceed output targets and quality standards, we’ll discuss raises. If you proactively improve systems and significantly increase team efficiency, we’ll reward that.
